I’d love to see Katrina Kaif in a bikini

I’d love to see Katrina Kaif in a bikini

Summers are knocking at our door, and it’s time for Alphonso mangoes and dips in the swimming pool.
“Nothing beats the heat like cold coffee with ice cream, good air-conditioning and cold showers,” says actor Arjan Bajwa. CS does rapid fire with him:
I love summers….
Because it is the time for beach, babes and bikinis (laughs out loud). You can drink endless glasses of cold beverages as well. But I hate the sweat and dust that’s all around in summers.
Summer wardrobe…
Definitely, lots of T-shirts, three fourths, slip-ons and bottles of deodorants.
Summer diet…
Consists of lots of juices, salads and yogurt. In summers, I have a light breakfast of muesli with milk, and a glass of fruit juice.
My favourite summer holiday spot…
It has to be San Francisco, where the summers are not very hot, and pleasant for being outdoors.
The one actress I love to see in a bikini…
Katrina Kaif and Scarlett Johansson. Both these girls are blessed with a sexy figure and an innocent face. That’s a killer combination.

Bindu Madhavi: I like be compared with Silk Smitha

Bindu Madhavi: I like be compared with Silk Smitha

Many are of the opinion that actress Bindu Madhavi has the looks of Silk Smitha. When asked her that whether she likes to be compared with Silk Smitha, she said, ” When anyone calls me to Chennai to narrate a story, they say that they like me because I look like Silk Smitha. Even my Face Book fans paste my photo along with Silk Smitha photo and surprised me. I like Silk very much.
The reason for this is that she hails from my native place. Recently I saw the film Dirty Picture. It is sad to see that how a lady has suffered to reach a place. Nobody can touch her place. Even after her death, the only actress remembered throughout India is Silk. I like to be compared with Silk. I don’t know whether I am worth it or not. My style is different and her style is different.”

Sonam Kapoor has opted out of Mani Ratnam’s new Tamil film which launches the veteran Tamil actor Karthik’s son Gautham. The role has now gone to the upcoming Tamil-Telugu actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu who also will maker her Bollywood debut with ” Assi Nabey Poore Sau”.
“At this point in her career going Southwards for Sonam would give the wrong signal to the filmmakers in Bollywood. Mani had his heart set on Sonam since she suited the young innocent effervescent sophisticated girl’s role to the hilt. He had to look for a last-minute replacement,” said a source.

Yama Muduru Movie Review

Cast: Prithviraj, Priyamani, Bala, Meera Nandhan
Direction: Diphan
Genre: Action
Duration: 2 hours 17 minutes
Rating : 3/5

StoryAn honest Brahmin boy from modest surroundings joins a college in the city, where a gang of baddies creates havoc in his life. After lots of suffering and pain, he decides to take on the villains

Movie Review: A Telugu dubbed version of the 2009 Malayalam blockbuster Puthiya Mugham, (Yama Muduru) is a made to order revenge drama, which is designed to thrill the audience complete with eye catching visuals, breathtaking action episodes, great music and a debonair protagonist.

Krishna Kumar (Prithvi Raj) is a small-town Brahmin boy from conservative family moves to college to pursue engineering. A gifted musician, he soon becomes the toast of the college. He also makes enemies of the gang of goons headed by Sudhi ( Bala), the youngest sibling of the two goons who control the real estate mafia in the city. As luck would have it Sudhi's fiancee Anjana ( Priyamani) develops a liking for Krishna. Sudhi, along with his goons beats up Krishna and leave him for dead. After a while an all new Krishna with rippling muscles comes back to seek his revenge.

There are shades of Aparichithudu and Ghajini in the movie that you cannot miss. The fast paced narrative along with the slick editing makes for a good viewing experience. As far as performances go, it is a Prithvi Raj show all the way. He has the author backed role and he carries the film on his shoulders. The action sequences are well shot and the movie is loaded with lots of style. There is just enough of everything in the movie to keep you hooked to your seats despite the predictable plotline.

Disco Telugu Movie Review

 Disco Telugu Movie Review

Cast: Nikhil, Sara Joshi, Ashish Vidyarthi, Paidipalli, Khayyum, Vijay
Direction: Hari K Chanduri
Genre: Comedy
Duration: 2 hours 20 minutes
Movie Review: 1.5/5

Starring: Nikhil Siddhartha, Sara Sharma
Nikhil and Sarah Sharma have teamed up together for the movie ‘Disco’. Hari K Chaduri is the director of this movie and the film has been produced by Ramalinga Reddy and Abhinav Reddy jointly. The movie has released today so let us see how it is.
Story :
Disco (Nikhil) is an orphan and he has three friends (Khayyum, Vijay Sai and Happy DaysPaidithalli). He is a carefree guy who always gets his friends into trouble with his pranks and schemes. He falls in love with Shiny(Sara Sharma) and he travels to Bangkok in search of her. It is revealed that Shiny is the daughter of a local Don (Ashish Vidyarthi) and things become more complicated from that instant.
Just when Disco seems to have won over the affection of Shiny, the story takes a twist and it is now a question of whether Disco chooses love over friendship. What happens next? What will Disco do to salvage his love? That forms the story.
Plus Points :
M.S.Narayana’s cameo as Surya Bhai is hilarious. The spoof on Mahesh Babu’s character in Businessman has come out well due to the sheer brilliance of M.S.Narayana and it is one of the very few positive points in the movie. Ali is good in his role and he comes in only during the second half.
Raghu Babu tries to liven up the proceedings but he is only partially successful. Few spoofs on famous TV Commercials are ok.
Minus Points :
Script and screenplay are non-existent in this ‘film’ and narration is a disaster. There is absolutely zero logic in the proceedings and you literally start praying for something better to come. Atrocious direction and poor performances from all the lead actors make the film tough to watch. Nikhil goes completely overboard and he tries to imitate Pawan Kalyan and Ravi Teja, but it does not work out. His dialogues, fights and scenes do not gel with his image and market. Sarah Sharma is not heroine material and one wonders how she was selected. Her acting skills are virtually non-existent.
Comedy is extremely cheap and most of the scenes do not make you laugh. Ashish Vidyarthi is wasted in a poorly etched role. Same goes for Jeeva. The romantic track is extremely superficial and there is no chemistry between the actors. People start getting sentimental and melodramatic without proper reason every now and then. The story keeps moving around in circles with foolish ‘twists’ in the second half and the narration will test the patience of the viewers. The film is very long.
Climax is atrocious and there is no proper explanation about why Ashish Vidhyarthi has a sudden change of heart. There are so many other flaws in the movie that cannot be listed here in the interests of time and space.
Technical Aspects :
Re-recording work is very poor and this is especially evident during the songs.Anand’s music is not impressive. Editing is very bad and there is no smooth flow in the proceedings. Dialogues are ok in places but bad most of the time. Cinematography is alright.
Hari Chanduri’s direction is very poor.
Verdict :
Disco is a safely avoidable flick. Poor performances, bad direction and silly scenes will test the limits of your patience. The long run time and foolish narration only make things worse. Stay away from this movie unless you want to watch something that is embarrassingly bad.

Binami Telugu Movie Review

Binami Telugu Movie Review

Cast: Vinay Rai, Kajal Agarwal
Direction: Saran
Genre: Thriller
Duration: 2 hours 20 minutes
Movie Review: 2.5/5

StoryIn the world of business tycoons, money flows in millions and assets run into even more. The games millionaires play and the lengths they are willing to go to in order to hide their wealth is what Binami is all about...

Movie Review: After a long time, here is an interesting plot. It starts off with a boy meeting a girl from the upper crust of society and turns into the story of a tussle between a tycoon and his heir who has grown up believing that he is indeed the former's son. There are many scenes in the movie which suggest that director Saran has not lost his touch, but the rustic edges show and also slowdown the film at crucial moments. Pace becomes a casualty but in the last half hour you forget all that.

Uday Vasudev (Vinay) is the well-protected son of Rajan Vasudev (Kalabhavan Mani). For company, and protection, he has Madan (Yuva), a housemate who is exclusively attached for him, besides half-a-dozen security personnel who are around all the time.

In a freak incident, caused by LR Eswari (Kajal Aggarwal), he smashes his Ferrari and decides to make her pay for the damage by serving as a domestic help at his sprawling house in the Boat Club area. Eswari, a second year Viscom student, plays along, a little irritated and a little amused.

She sees Madan falling for her and encourages him, hoping to trigger similar emotions in Uday. In the meantime, father Rajan has kept adding to a long list of enemies and, before long, a hitman is hired to kill Uday. However, the bullet kills Madan. Just as you thought that it is another formula film, the director manages to deliver a googly, which turns Uday's life upside down.

How Uday establishes himself is executed fairly well, although a couple of songs in the second half, although enjoyable, are more like irritating pop-ups. Had Saran only been crisper in his narration, it might have made for an edgier film. Vinay has dubbed in his own voice and, after faltering initially, manages to get his rhythm right.
