Anupam Kher, who was nominated in the best film ensemble category, attended the prestigious awards ceremony, representing India and Bollywood

As the glittering red carpet was rolled out for the Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG) this year, we were curious to know who from India will be there at the Shrine Auditorium in California to represent our glitzy Bollywood. And we gleefully spotted Freida Pinto, Dev Patel, Anupam Kher and Kirron Kher rubbing their shoulders with some of the best known celebs from Hollywood.

Anupam Kher was nominated along with the starcast of his much talked about film Silver Linings Playbook in the best film ensemble category, but sadly for India, the coveted award went to Argo. Nevertheless, we were glad to see Kher look dapper in his tuxedo and wife Kirron look her charming best in a beautifully crafted saree. Mrs Kher’s dazzling smile coupled with the chunky statement jewellery made her dazzle even more.

And yes there was Freida Pinto too who donned a rather boring pink outfit and turned up at the ceremony with her Slumdog Milionaire co-star Dev Patel. But the two looked really cute together. Don’t believe us, check out the pics!
